I know this has been asked before but what flasher type fishfinder do you like the best and why?

well the deed is done and I ended up spending way more than I had planned, but getting a far better deal for it. i ended up picking up the x102c lowrance fishfinder at cabelas for 449.99, and found a marcum vxr for 135$ in the bargain cave and with the promo cabelas is running if you use the card I got an instant 100$ off the purchase. The vxr (lx-1 basically) is a basic flasher, but I am sure it will do what I need in terms of the flasher unit anyway. i am going to try both and if I find that the flasher is just too cheap or doesn't have the features i need I will just return it but I have the suspicion that having both for different situations will be nice. I fish as much if not more out of my boat in the summer anyway so haveing a nice color lcd fisfinder was a better way to go anyway for me, anyway thank you for all of the advice and if you or anyone else has any advice on good transducer setups for ice fishing I would sure appreciate it.
