finding perch under the ice

So you want perch well im gonna let ya in on a few lil secret that works for me. Knowing your lake helps alot almost as good as fasher unit! But i noticed in my lakes when ever i target perch. I generally see a few fresh water shrimps floatin up in the hole if none i move on. Next i take peek at the bottom if the waters shallow enough and clear. If i see a lil bit of weeds and bit of structure like rocks at the bottom of the hole, I try there for about 15mins,For some reason the fish in winter hang out in the rocks. You got rocks you got fish!

If you catch right away and keep catching dont move

But if the perch stop all of a sudden you better break out the big gear cause more than likey they are getting scared away by a huge pike or some other trophy fish. So you have to catch that big pike and get him outta the way.
So you can keep slammin the perch, How terrible lol

So if you catch few perch in your area early in the day stick around and wait till sunset and i can garentee you some awsome action.
