BFT unofficial Foot Ball Pool week 11
#24
[#000000]Week #10 did have its share of surprises.[/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Indianapolis were the Colts made history by becoming the first team ever to post consecutive 9-0 records as they slipped past the Bills 17-16, while in New York, the Bears showed they're the team to beat in the NFC as they toppled the sleeping Giants 38-20. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Overcoming a 21-point halftime deficit, the Chargers used a 42-point second half to stun the reeling Bengals 49-41, while Steve McNair threw for three touchdowns as the Ravens rallied from a 19-point deficit to beat the Titans 27-26. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Reverting back to early season form, the Broncos used a stifling defense to overcome mistakes by the offense to hold off the Raiders 17-13, while the Seahawks denied the Rams victory, as Josh Brown once again kicked a last second field goal to seal their deal 24-22. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The Eagles found their winning ways, as they preyed upon the struggling Redskins 27-3, while the Cowboys won in dominating fashion as they steamrolled past the Cardinals 27-10. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]In the four major upsets of the week, we begin in Pittsburgh where the Steelers and Willie Parker ran wild over the Saints 38-31, while the Texans snapped a 12-game road losing streak knocking off the up-and-down Jaguars 13-10. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]The Jets handed the Patriots consecutive losses for the first time in 57 games with a shocking 17-14 victory, while the Falcons did another disappearing act as the Browns stunned all of Atlanta 17-13. [/#000000]
[#000000][/#000000]
[#000000]Finally, in the Monday Night finale, the Carolina Panthers had a second half wake-up call as they rallied past the stumbling Buccaneers 24-10.

[#000000][#000000]now on to the Lions game, have your meals this week tasted like they all came out of a cardborad box? Why is it that your wife has refused to cook for you when you simply were telling her the truth about her mashed potatoes? "Heck, I could have choked to death Honey!" Is it your ears, or are your lovely kids now chanting from the other room, "Dad is a Grouch, all he wants to do is watch football by himself on the Couch!" What a difference a week makes. Oh!, and that "Special" feeling we were feeling last week ... it was probably GAS! What else is there to say? It is not like we lost to a playoff team or even a playoff contender. We lost to the lowly 49ers at home and it was their first road win of the season! "Gaining ground behind closed Doors" is the talk that is being heard, well how about a win "On the Field" against the Cardinals this week rather than laying another big "TURD!" [/#000000][/#000000]
[#000000][#000000][/#000000][/#000000]
[#000000][#000000]Glad these werent my words, my words about the lions is "I told ya so" they are in the building hope and letting you drop business, not foot ball... In my score books the lions are headed for a new low.
