Strawberry tragedy--and LIFE JACKETS

Let's hope from this terrible tragedy something good can occur - saving others lives by promoting more use of PFD's. It would be a really nice gesture if Sportsmen's or Cablea's would give a donation (Roundy family) for every PFD purchased during the gift giving season. The more PFD's ( especially the new comfortable auto inflatables), the more lives could be saved.

I bought and use auto inflatable PFD's ( SoSpenders). They're very small and comfortable ( even in warm weather). I found mine at Sportsmens for around $100 each. Cabela's has their own private label Inflatable PFD line under $100 ea. Unfortunately, it takes a tragedy like this to motivate adults to wear a pfd. With the new lines of very small and comfortable inflatable PFD's, no one ( including adults) have an excuse for not wearing a PFD at all times while on the water- just like the airbags in our vehicles, the inflatable PFD just may save your life.
