[cool][#0000ff]There's always the choice, when you leave the harbor: left or right. I like the area off the "garbage barn"...and the creek...but it is tough to be able to fish both that area and the bubbleup in one day from a tube. I just happened to decide to turn left.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I have done well in the past on whities in the creek channel this time of year. As I drove out I noticed that there was a good flow of fairly clean water. Might be a plan for another shot.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]The thing about that area that has turned me off the past couple of years is the heavy underwater weed growth. It is amazing how thick that stuff has grown in with the high water of the past couple of years. Even the carp can't keep it down. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Makes it impossible to drag a bait for kitties or cast and retrieve lures for other fish. And,it is still in there. At least I ran through clumps of it on the way over to the bubbleup so I'm guessing it is still to the north too.[/#0000ff]
