Hara<br><br>As mentioned above, 6/0 and upwards is what we are using here. What hooks have you tried on the pin heads and how are you securing them to the hook?<br><br>If your hooking them (barb up and from the bottom up) through the lower lip, or just under the dorsal fin, then they will not die regardless of the hook your using. <br><br>If your looking for fine gauge hooks, then SSL-12 gamakatsu hooks will do the job, and yet will not last as long.
