I too have a cherry 10' 8wt with a 3" fighting butt, that I have yet to put to the pull. I am stubborn however, and love my 6wt.s
Glass is even funner, cause the fish set the hook them self with the limber rod.
And by the way, I am in no way in your league on the waters you fish, but willing to give it a go.
