question and suggestions about some spinning reels
#5
D11

Welcome and glad you have dropped in. What type of fish are you planning to target(?) One of my first Q's, always, wether it's choosing rods, reels or tackle.

That makes a difference, IMO, as to what type of reel to select and the features they have which may help you feel, and get onto, the fish better.

At the same time, I have to agree with Capt. Dan that the Penn Spinfisher's are hard to go past given that they are well built, tough and have a good grad system. I have used them a lot when pro guiding and they stand up to the best of fish (in the medium sized range)..

Even so, let us know about my Q and we can go from their in terms of other reel options, including the Okuma's.

I am sure other anglers will drop their comments in here as well.

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve - The MJB
BFT Lures/Baits
http://www.demonjigs.com
