Matador I agree totally with your analysis. As anglers sometimes we forget that we are talking about a hobby that we enjoy immensely but we must remember that we live in a desert and that water often means the difference between whether or not a farmer can feed his family or not. We also often do not know the history of a reservoir and want the farmers to do the right thing for anglers, when they have already given us much by even allowing us to fish on a reservoir they have created. I grew up often fishing Koosharem Reservoir, and have strong family ties to that area (my mother's identical twin sister, who died as a child, is buried in the Koosharem City Cemetary). We often caught some large rainbows fishing from the shore by the dam, but it seems like the chubs were always a problem.
