High Steve, I'm not sure what kind of hooks the jigs come with, i lost the catologe that i got them from,but they are a 6/0 in the bills and 7/0 in the other.As for strenght I caught plenty of over 30lb bass last fall with no hook problems,and no rust to-date!<br>As for the shinny stuff, it's a must here!<br>TIGHT LIES,TIM<br><br>
