3 acres is a decent sized pond, however, I wouldn't expect to see any other species of fish than you've already mentioned; except maybe carp. Stranger things have happened though. I remember not long ago DaveTclown was telling us a story about a pirrana being caught in one of the Great Lakes.(if I remember correctly) Actually, I think it was a Paku, the vegitarian cousin of the pirrana. Hey Dave, which one was it?????????
But either way, I wouldn't get your hopes up about discovering a new kind of fish or anything. The reason why you ask? The small size of the pond doesn't support the key habbitat required for the other local fish in the area. Pike, Walleye, Flathead Cats, etc.... All are big water fish and have big appitites. They would last long in a small pond. Niether would the small panfish. LOL[cool]
