Sunday, 09/24/06- Hit the water early (5am). Tossing a net before sunrise in Las Vegas Wash. Must have made 100 attempts with the net only to end up with about 12 shad in the live well. Settled over a large group of fish across the channel from Hole 33. Jigged 2 stripers into the boat, one about 4 lbs. Spent the rest of the morning drifting different areas with live shad. Added four more small stripers to the box. Very slow today. I was putting live bait in front of fish that did'nt want anything to do with it. Back in the marina by noon. A great day on the water!
