Yeah I shoulda mentioned the shaller water! though even if it were deep he woulda been safe, because i was laughin so hard and had the camera pointed at him that he soon found out what was going on and closed the air valve stopping the leak.(he was pretty quick for a newbie) Plus he had the whole other side air bladder full, plus the foam seat, plus I wouldnt have just sat there and watched if he really was sinking.
Actually this is the second time I got him, the first though was not intentional and could have been dangerous. I gave him my old caddis donut tube that i had used for like 10 years.

I never had any problems with it except the occasional small leak from sunfish spines. Well he goes out by himself and the tube got a huge leak! I guess he had quite an adventure getting to shore! Good thing he can swim and has a good sense of humor, hes always razzin me about how Im trying to drown him! Now hes got a good tube and knows to watch it when I get close so I think he will do pretty good now![cool]
