Sounds like the ones you have are very adequate. Nice that you were able to put them to the test for a side by side comparison. If the ones you have are adequate that should be the end of it. No others required.
A couple of things that I like about the diver's fins I use...
1. They have a super soft foot pocket. Very comfortable compared to the Creek Company fins I used before, which were rather rigid. Even though the CC models were "one size fits all" they never really fit my feet once I slid on socks, booties, and neoprenes. The ones I use now are super comfy, with or without the extra socks.
2. They have a quick snap and release buckle. One they are adjusted you need only slide the tootsies into the pockets and snap the sides. You're ready to go.
Lots of ways to accomplish the same thing.
