Cutthroat a form of trout .. there are four sub-species evolved from the only trout native to utah.. except the bear lake strain,cutthroats are best distingushed by their crimson slash along the lower jaw. they lack the iridescent pink stripe or the white tipped pelvic and anal fins of the rainbow trout .. the four species are bonneville cutthroat,bear lake cutthroat,colorado river cutthroat, and the yellowstone cutthroat.. hope that helped from the fuzzyfisher-------------fish on
