I'm positive there is no way possible that canned corn causes trout to bloat up and die. That might be possible if you were able to stuff a half pound of grits down his throat, however, you'd have a heck of a time getting dry grits on a hook. [

As far as trout liking corn, they love it. I also seem to remember that it's illegal in some states to use corn as bait. I know it's not in SC, but i'm pretty sure in some states it is. You might better check with your local DNR before you attemp to use canned corn for bait, it might save you some money.[cool]
