I'd say this,, as far as the old spinners you might want to slip on Ebay and try earn enough and stock your tackle box,,, lol.. OK,,If not, they'll make good practice gear.. And if you dont bother to swap the hooks out before using them you probably wont have to worry to much about handling any of those slimies (as my G-daughter refers to fish).
Ok next on your list of needs, (and its up to you to convince the other half of it, if that applies),, a 18'+ Crestliner loaded to the gills and push by a couple hundred hp.. That should get you around most of the ponds in this state [
