I would not recommend the cabela's reels. I had one that lasted barely 2 years fishing for trout and another one that was bigger lasted less than half a season. The main problem I had was they would start to reel backwards and the little latch or whatever it is that comes down to keep the line from going backwards would stick. I tried the clip on counters last night and with little resistance such as a small rattle trap it wouldn't even read and with a bottom bouncer type rig it only seemed to read about half the line going out.
