The more visibility you have, the easier it is for them to see you and target you for recreational buzzing. I have seen wacko boaters use tubers for pylons in a slalom run on occasion. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I prefer muted colors and a stealth mode. My tube is dark green and I try to stay near shore and rocks so I do not become an easy target. Doesn't always work, but it puts my mind at ease.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I recently added painted on shark jaws, in an effort to deter skiers. (see pic) Doesn't do much for the guys in the big boats but it does seem to keep the PWC folks and skiers a bit further off.[/#0000ff]
