You are just another disgruntled liberal that hates the fact that the economy is booming, we are spreading democracy, and we all have more money in our pockets because of tax cuts, and all of it is happening while the Republicans are in power.
Have people forgot what happened to this country on 9-11? Apparently you have. The victims he was talking about were the 3000 people that died in PA, DC, and New York on that day. The soldiers that have given their life in the name of democracy and freedom in Iraq are not victims, they are heros. And I dare you to call one of them a victim in front of their comrades. Would you call the 100,000's of Americans that died in WW2 victims? They too were sent away from their homes to oust tyrannical governments that threatened (and attacked just like Saddam) neighboring countries. I am not discounting the lives lost in Iraq and Afghanistan, I love and fully support our troops, but we lost more people on D-day than we have in both of the forementioned conflicts. Same for the opening days of Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
Whether we went to Iraq on faulty intelligence or not at this point does not matter. Sadaam gased the Iranians and HIS OWN PEOPLE!! He attacked Kuwait without provaocation to pay his war debt. He tortured and killed hundreds of thousands of his own people because he thought they were traitors to his regime. Does that ring a bell? Sounds a little like Stalin to me. (Which happens to be one of Saddams idols) By the way, they have found weapons that were banned to the Iraqi government after the Gulf War. They also fired scud missles into Kuwait in the openind days of the current conflict, which were also banned due to the fact of their range, and their capability to deliver WMD. Just because the Clinton administration dragged their feet on Iraq, doesn't mean that it was wrong for the Bush administration to hold them accountable for this, and many other infractions.
If I were you I would look at all of this in a bigger picture. You have obviously been blinded.
