Until we did poke a hole in the boat we never even thought about it, but I just happened to have apatch kit in my tackle box and we were able to keep fishing. Ray has the spots marked and dated in the bottom of his boat.
I've never gotten into the weeds with either the inflatable or my toon, ususally headed out to deeper water, I don't like the bugs.
We use a shrimp tipped with worm and just let it settle on the bottom, seems to work we've caught cats a big as 6lbs and as little as my pinkie, didn't think one that small would hit a large hook but it did! We didn't even know it was on the line until we pulled up shop to move someplace else!
