I fish for them hook and line.
I usualy catch half dozen per night, Biguns...
since I dont use them I thow them back. I know a lot of people eat them, both the native and non native invasive ones.... I dont care much for lobster so craw dosnt apeal much to me, I do like shrimp...
the trick to catching them hook and line is you need to use a number 4 or 2 arbordeen hook. you need to fish streight down on a river bead on the bottom. to do this you need to be on a bridge or a well ancored boat.
when you feel the nibble like a bait stealer, you lift your rod gently and the craw will hang on with thier pinchers all the wat up, even if you are fishing 20 high off a bridge.
