Hi Scholz,
I encountered this problem before. Liquid rubber enabled me to put my CA numbers on (among a number of other projects) but here in California I never have actually fully deflated my tube as we can fish year-round. Hasn't peeled yet ... but faded!
Sticker should easily go on one of the contraptions we make if there are no draconian regs on how the 'stickers' must be displayed.
The real problem would be to get the inquiring officer to stop laughing long enough to hear our entire story.
