[cool][#0000ff]If you go where Leaky told you, you will be in prime smallmouth country...also catfish. Throw any kind of plastic for smallmouth...from crawdad colors to plain white twisters. It is hard to find something they WON'T hit.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Fish the cats in warm shallow coves or along the dropoffs in 12' to 16' feet of water. Bounce a jig with a piece of worm on it until you find the right depth and then stick with it. For bigger fish, soak big pieces of cut bait (carp) or minnows in the shallows near access to deep water.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]You will usually not find much rainbow action where you are catching bass and cats, but sometimes. Early in the morning, the trout are near the surface and will take a piece of worm under a bobber. Later you can float power bait up off the bottom in deeper water. Take several colors and change around. Some days they want one color. Other days it is different.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Good luck with the new tubes and the new tuber. Don't overdo it and be sure to apply the sunscreen. First timers tend to get tired more easily so don't overfun. If that girl is the kind to spring for two new float tubes you don't wanna wear her out too fast.[/#0000ff]
