yap, me too, I am not much of a fan of wind and rain combos.
here in the great lakes regeon we can see waves up to twelve feet... They can flood a normal personal fishing boat in a matter of a split second. just a couple years ago a small 3 foot caped wave drove the nose of a 16 footer down killing a couple of its passengers on the detroit river... It came up so fast no one saw it coming or had time to react..
this was on a sunny day with fifteen mile an hour winds.
a sudden down draft can pop up a wave of dier conciquences... always better to side with caution than taking chances... My days of more brawn than brain are just about over....[
