Dave, now FG is up at Falcons Ledge till Thursday, I've been asked to step in and keep things in line. (Right- this is coming from a guy that gets banned from EF A Oh ELL for no good reason. Not that I enjoy a boring fishing forum..... )
Anyway, it wasn't the rain so much, but the 30+mph winds that accompanied it. The lake is only 28' at the deepest so the waves tend to get vicious. Horizontal rain + 2'waves + 30 mph wind = motor on 5, rowing like a Viking whose captain wants to go water skiing, and the wind blowing from the west and we have to beach to the west, and is not as much fun as I thought it would be.[
