I could not agree Filigree (Oxford dictionary meaning? fragile or delicate) and thanks for your comments.

While their may not be a primer (which would be about 10 ft high by 6 ft thick by the way), I know a lot of angling clubs that actively encourage all young anglers to take part, both male and female.. You may have also seen "take a kid fishing day" and many other activities that are about getting them all involved, including both young and older women. This also includes on fly by the way.

I would encourage those three you female anglers (and all their friends) to show up here, register a user name each, join in the chat, ask questions and more.

I would also like to hear what they learnt from the anglers they interviewed, and then the fish they caught and how, where and what.

So let them know they are welcome here!

I would also like to see other female anglers post here along side of the blokes. I think that would be great and have also said so in the post from me here called "read first".

So don't shy, regardless of wether you a male of female angler. Why? because shyness won't get you onto the fish and it won't get you a burnin thumb either!

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve - The MJB
BFT Lures/Baits
http://www.demonjigs.com
