I've caught some nice sized carp in some of the local ponds, however, have yet to find what locations in the river would be productive.
I'd love to hear from someone that fishing either the pee dee rivers, waccamaw or lynches river.
Carp are really fun though. I used light tackle for the ones I caught, talk about a battle. I've got an ultra-lite Ugly Stix toppled with a Quantum Xtra lite reel, spooled with 10 lb Stren Super Braid. It makes a killer combo, for any of my light tackle. needs.
