Actually we're allowed up to an 18 inch ice hole at FG,, as well as other Mac waters here in Utah, altho', I rarely use an 18" icehole. Two over lapping 10" holes cut with my 10" auger and creating a 10"x16" oval usually does the trick just fine. If not, I do carry a spud bar to make the hole larger when need be...
