Took my son up to the dam today to see if we could find some crappie's. The water is way up and there is very little beach areas. We had a hard time finding a place to fish because of the lack of bank and all the brush.Didn't get anything there so we packed up and went to the Ogden river. All I had was some of my crappie jigs (forgot the spinners) so we fished anyway. Had two real good hits but didn't hook them and then I finally landed one little guy. The water is still up a little and a little off color, but still fishable. There were about a dozen other cars parked along the road on the way home.
