Hey Baysport,
Great report. I'm heading out there during the Memorial Day Weekend. I realize that there will be a lot of people on that lake during the weekend. I posted another thread inquiring about Hideaway Cove and the stiper fishing in general. "Reellittlephish" provided me with a lot of useful information re the Boulder Basin. He suggested that I anchor our houseboat either near the Upper Gov't Wash or Crawdad Cove. Do you have any suggestions? We'd like to fish off the back of the houseboat at nights so a good cove is essential. Have you ever fished Crawdad, Hideaway or Boxcar?
During the day, we'll have a deck cruiser so I figure we'll go fish Vegas Wash near Hole 33. Is Hole 33 pretty easy to find? Buoy? Tires? Some type of landmark? We're interested in primarily the 1 lb stripers because they make for the best eating. Although I wouldn't mind trying to hook a monster striper. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
