I wasn't sure if you would go back to the thread regarding my question about lure identification. I wrote you back in that thread and mentioned my little bit of experience with spider-wire or fireline. I really like that stuff on my heavier rig (Penn 209). I'm thinking about switching my Ambas
or over to it also. When we bottom fish, I've been tieing a dropper loop above the sinker and then attaching a snelled hook to that. The snelled hood is on about a 20 Lb test I think (not fluorocarbon either). I haven't started trying any trolling with that rig yet, so I'm not sure what I'll do concerning that.
