Here in Utah, there is no closed fishing season, we can fish 365 days a year[
], which means that I can get skunked 365 days a year [
]. There are specific waters that may close for a specific time to protect the spawn, but there is always a place to fish. The Division of Wildlife Management is trying something new (and good) this year. All fishing licenses used to expire at midnight, December 31. Now fishing licenses are good for 365 days from the date of purchase. I think that it makes sense and is a good idea. Tight lines!
