What are your Spring rituals for getting fishing tackle ready for the upcoming season?

i just pulled my boat out of the garage today! i need to spend a lot of time going through my gear boxes to make sure i have everything i need. i re-spooled two reels today and will do a couple of more no doubt. im trying to decide whether or not to invest a little more and go with flourocarbon for my mackinaw poles. i like the idea of less stretch so that i can put a better hook set into them. (just not sure its worth the extra $$) spring has begun for me!
