I alway's welcome advice from Local Angler's and the Hook situation is currently being reveiwed and I have recommended to change the hook to a Gamakatzu or Owner hook we just have to look at price point and quality to justify keeping the prices in line with what they are. I know me as an angler myself , I wouldn't mind paying .10 cents more to have a HIGH quality product so I am on this and thank's for the Advice...I am also looking at putting on red Hooks to add variety to the line, What do you guy's Think? and a Quick Clarifacation I currently do not have any Ownership In Shasta Tackle, However it is not far fetched to say that may change in the future. As you have mentioned they were and are designed for Kokanee and not for the Cutthroat species but that does not mean They shouldn't hold up, Which is why we will be addressing this in the VERY NEAR future. We have a number of new Product's that I have designed that are in the Pipeeline that I am sure you will all like...and Yes I have made them With Gamakatzu Hook's!!!!!!
