I've talked to so many anglers that find sharks to be a trash fish and shun the notion of an encounter with one. But over the years, they have become more and more respected by anglers, as they are not the mindless eatting machines once thought of in the past. They are strong, hard runners, and many are great table fare. It takes patients and skill to get a large shark to the boat, and an even more skilled crew to actually land it. I was curious how many of our BFT anglers actually target sharks, and how they go about it. What do you look for in a location and what is your prefered tackle and chumming methods? Mmmmm, maybe our first nation-wide BFT gathering should be a shark tournament. What a way to kick things off. [cool] Pick teams anyone?
