they did tell us how to rig them. i cant give you their exact recommendations, but i can tell you what ive been doing.(i dont remember all of the suggestions they gave us!) i rig two 4 inch sling blades together and then follow with a lure. the double set up gives a lot more action. as far as leader length to the lure i'd ask jared (sockeyslayer) for his reccomendations. but what i do is put the kokanuts back about 14 inches and cripplures and humdingers back about 24 inches. my favorite sling blade color is pink glow, favorite kokanut is white pink multi. jared set me up with a pink glow cripplure that im looking forward to trying as well.
as far as the hooks go- ive found the same thing to be true. they are great for the soft mouths of the kokes, but on cutts they get broken pretty quick. what i started doing when id break a hook off is just jamming a new hook through the kokanut. they work just as good as the originals and are stronger. just jam one through the middle and tie it to your line.
