Hello,
The reason I brought it up is becuase like my previous post states we have done this April Fools prank ourselves.
If it was a prank I thought it was just that, not that someone was trying to get over on anyone.
If these Bass Chasers did beat the record I couldn't think of anyone more deserving and I couldn't be happier for them!!!!
The thing I don't get and never will, is if you catch a fish thats beats a 70+ year old record and is clearly a world record.
WHY LET IT GO???????????????
I HERE PEOPLE SAY ITS UNSPORTSMEN LIKE AND THINGS LIKE THAT, BUT IF YOUR REALLY THAT CONCERNED, KEEP IT AND TRY TO KEEP IT ALIVE?
I consider myself as much of a true sportsmen as anyone and do practice catch and release unless I am eating the fish but if I caught that fish, no to ways about it, I would keep it! Matter of fact I would try to keep it alive.
If that is the new World Record Bass it is one of the biggest fishing events of 7 decades and wwhy leave history up to message board chat? Why not certify the fish without a doubt???
P.S. I am sure this BIG HAWG left plenty of his gene pool in the lake and we will see many more monster bass from this lake. So again why not keep it, and remove all doubt?
