Knot to join 2 different lines

I have a knot question also. I use to use a type of loop knot when fishing for cod. It allowed for free hook movement. Made the anchovies swim more naturally. I kept using it after returning back to Utah. But i got away from it a few years ago. Kent showed me how to tie a palomar and i bagged that knot.I know how to tie the nonslip mono knot or the rapala knot. They are simular but not the same. This knot was fast easy and not once did it ever break or fail.

Anyone know what knot that might be? If so a quick tying lesson would be apreciated.
