S.C. inshore fishing stinks right now
#3
I figure the water will warm up here in the next couple of weeks or so. The magical number here is 65 degrees. It almost seems like a little magical ferry comes down from fish heaven and sprinkles "it's time to eat" dust on all the fish. I've gone three time in the past 3 weeks, twice to the salty pond and once the fresh water pond and it was so windy that it was down right misreable. All three times I said to myself I wasn't going to try it again until it warmed up a bit, and I still ended up going back again. The weather may suck and I already know i'm not going to catch anything, but if i've got time and gas in the boat, it's hard to turn down that watery ride.
