sounds like you are doing by far better than I,
I am hitting fresh water, half ice half open. cant cast far enough cant launch a boat ice flows coming down pretty regular. Great Lakes area.
water is to cold, now 50 miles north and south of me is producing salmon. to far for me to drive.
but you know how it is, if they aint bittin today they were yesterday or will be tomarow...
