There are also plenty of places between Belmont Pier and Huntington Pier. Between Huntington and Newport.

There are plenty of places north of Belmont Pier. Have you ever tried fishing the Keys near Catalina Landing?? There are croaker in there too but when the water warms up, there is a very pleasant surface surprise there as well. Threshers!!!![cool]
