I usually just wear a thin pair of those black gloves and then over those put these purple (i want to say vynal but i dont think they are) gloves that keep my hands from getting wet & cold. I mostly use baitcasting reels and if i wear anything bigger it gets hard to thumb the spool etc..
The purple "doctor gloves" also trap in heat so I say pretty warm[
