Dryrod, I got the ad on my e-mail (after working for the Co. for four years and leaving cause they had to close the store) they are still pretty good to me.
I took one of those Frequent Flyers home and cast it several times (5 wt). What a great little rod and at 16" you can stick it in you back pocket. I would rate it as a Med/Fast to fast rod, but, very light.
At $149. not a bad deal, but warning, there is no warranty other than manufacture defect. Might not be that important at that price. They are a gorgeous Green and a cordura tube.
I did hear talk of them offering Quotes on broken rods and charging from there, but, not over $129. I don't know if that happened or not though.
