I spent several years working as an EMT for the County Fire Dept in the water rescue division.

I came across many accidents where people didn't care to hear advice nor heed warnings for the day.

I was happy to save the ones that I could as they finally understood. "Oh, that's what they meant". For others, it was too late.

I am not saying that all water is deadly but I concur with you on using common sense to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip that you can tell others about later.[cool]
