Weston/Winder 1/17/06
#1
I've been too busy with other stuff to get online for a few days but didn't make it out fishing on Tuesday. Sorry about the late report but I guess it is better late than never.[Smile]

Weston
There was about 14"-16"?? (didn't measure) of ice where in the mid section of the reservoir. I fished it from 7:30am until about 12:30pm. The wait between bites was shortest the first hour I was there but slowed down when Acey and his son showed up.[Wink] We mostly caught planted rainbows but I didn't pull a few perch through the ice. None of the trout that I measured were 18" or better but a couple were close and almost all of the trout had a very healthy sized girth for their length.[Smile]
Here's a picture of the perch that I caught at Weston. The quality isn’t the best because it is from my cell phone.

Winder
There was about 13"-15" of ice where I fished several hundred yards from the dam. I was there from about 1:45pm-4:30pm. Fishing was fairly steady for perch. The perch from Winder ranged from 4"-10". I also caught a couple skinny snake like rainbows. I wasn't able to find any bluegills even though I tried several locations.[unsure]
