Thanks for the condolences on the finder guys. As it turns out though I started monkeying around with it and it was my sealed gel cell battery that had crapped not the finder. I think one of the cells dropped out of it 'cause the charger won't even detect it and a volt meter shows no voltage present. The finder worked fine when I hooked it up to a good battery. What a relief!!

As for the plowed status, it wasn't bad. I did ok in my two wheel drive ranger.
