patman no the perch die of did not help the perch, the perch up at Rockport will not get as big as Deer creek they don't get the same food and the lakes are not the same size..
It takes about 5 to 7 years for the perch to get to 8 to 10 inches at Rockport so if you lose a year class or two it will take longer to come back..
