You being a diver I understand perfectly. I have never done that. I am also tall and thin, so I don't worry about what my tuube will hold in weight like you big boys.
I was going to ask if you used boots, cause with those flippers most don't. I have to use shes on my browning, (thin foot) plus in my echo and cardiac I only wear hip boot foot. I wear waist highs in my fat cat and I do alot of river fishing so I have the light weight boots. One thing I gotta say though, I can walk facing forward in my FF[

Also being a light weight we get some good winds with white caps and I can move forward in mine (or should I say backwards)
I know that the majority of you guys spinn, bait and fly fish, but I am strickly fly fish, so the studded boots are a must for me. Keeping the price real, I never bought christmas island booties, something else for me to missplace[
