I love it, but it ain't the same place I grew up skiing. Instead of hot dogs, burgers, and fries, it's sushi, prime rib and Cabernet Sauvignon. Get this... they have fancy rock walkways when you get off the lift/tram and they're heated so the ice/snow melts so you won't slip. They even have a small ice skating rink at the top of Middle Bowl (Needles) next to the lodge. They don't have night skiing, but you can take the tram up, eat a fine dinner, and do a little ice skating afterwords. I used to hike my ars off from Porcupine past Mount Ogden over to John Paul, Allen's Peak, and No Name, and now the John Paul Express will take you right to it, with a lodge at the top to boot. It's an amazing place. I still have a few little known stashes of fresh pow'.
